Someone once said that your childhood is over when your grandmother dies.
Mine is. She passed away yesterday at the age of 84.

She smoked a lot. Until her last day.
In 1943 she spent two days taking dead 18-year-old soldiers out of the train.
She had exactly the same face as me, but her eyes were brown.
Even at the age of 84 she never weighed more than 45 kg.
She was born in Ostankino, Moscow, and until the age of 10 lived in her own house, not an apartment.
Now at the place where her birth house was there stands a TV-Tower.
She married Grandfather on the front in 1944 and lived with him for 46 years.

YEAAAAH!!!
I'm a hero, I got up at 4 a.m. to watch the ceremony (why didn't they start just a couple of hours later? Well that's a rhetorical question, I know about the time difference). However, the 80th Academy Awards was worth it, cause "No Country For Old Men" won the Best Film category.
Congrats to the Coen brothers)))
